The International Day of the World's Indigenous People ( T I D O T W I P )

Melalui Resolusi No. 49/214 pada 23 desember 1994, General Assembly Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB) menetapkan bahwa tanggal 9 Agustus akan diperingati sebagai Hari Masyarakat Adat Internasional (the International Day of the World's Indigenous People).
